ingredients
1 cup margarine, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
directions
Cream margarine and sugars until light and fluffy.
Stir in egg and vanilla. Beat well. Stir in cream of tartar, salt and baking soda. Stir in flour and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 9-10 minutes or until light brown.
