This was very simple to make and was a nice alternative to more traditional chili recipes. And it tasted great! I browned the bratwurst first before cutting the links into coins. And as a special "secret ingredient," I substituted V-8 Juice for the water. We were happy with the result and I plan to make this one again.

I and my eleven year old daughter made a double pot of this great recipe. We were very tired of white brats on the grill. Bored more like it. This recipe will be a family favorite now on. We also added peppers and onions. I like a chunky chili. This was very delicious. Thank you.
