Slow Cooker Wild Rice Cheese Soup

ingredients
1 cup wild rice
4 cups water
4 teaspoons chicken bouillon
2 cans cream of potato soup
4 tablespoons onion
2 pints half and half
9 slices bacon, crisp
2 cups American cheese or processed cheese product, shredded
directions
Wash wild rice 3 times. Add to water and bouillon. Bring to boil, then simmer 40 minutes and drain.
Heat remaining ingredients in pan until cheese melts, then add rice. Leave in crock pot several hours to blend flavor.
Or, it can be served as soon as warmed through.
