Hearty Bean And Pasta Stew

ingredients
1 cup coarsely chopped tomato
3/4 cup uncooked small macaroni shells
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
OR
1 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 can (15 ounce size) kidney beans, drained
1 can (8 ounce size) garbanzo beans, drained
1 can (14.5 ounce size) chicken broth
directions
Mix all ingredients in 2-quart saucepan. Heat to a boil, stirring occasionally; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until macaroni is tender.

This is a staple recipe in my house. I make a huge pot of it, and even my non-bean eaters gobble it down. I'm a vegetarian, so I use vegetable broth instead. I also bring this to potlucks and get positive feedback... great recipe, simple and hearty!
