ingredients
2 eggs, well beaten
2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups milk
1/2 cup melted butter
Creamed Chicken Sauce
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup mushrooms
2 cups milk
2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
1/4 cup minced onion
1 can (12 ounce size) whole kernel corn, drained
directions
For Waffles: Combine eggs, flour, baking powder, milk, salt, and melted butter. Beat well, bake on greased waffle iron.
For Creamed Chicken Sauce: Melt butter, stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Add mushrooms. Beat in milk, and cook until thickened. Stir in chicken, onion, and corn. Simmer until veggies are tender.
Spoon over waffles.
