Russian Cranberry Chicken
- add review
- #68016

2-5 hrs
ingredients
5 pieces chicken, skinless, bone in or out, your choice, but definitely skinless
1 can whole berry, cranberry sauce
1 cup Russian salad dressing
1 package dried onion soup mix
directions
Place chicken flat in roasting pan.
In a bowl, mix cranberry sauce, salad dressing and soup mix. Pour over chicken. It is now oven ready but marinating for a couple of hours intensifies the flavor.
Bake covered in a 325 degrees F oven until chicken is done (30-60 minutes should be expected depending on pieces of chicken used. Always use a meat thermometer to be sure if the meat is cooked fully).
NOTE: You could use the jellied cranberry sauce but it lacks texture, your choice. This goes great with a dark, hoppy, beer.
