Chicken drumsticks are basted with a tangy mustard-brown sugar mixture and baked in the oven until done.

8 chicken drumsticks, or use chicken wings
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a rimmed baking sheet.
Place the chicken drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet.
Combine the mustard, brown sugar, lemon juice, cayenne, and salt in a small bowl until smooth.
Brush half the mustard mixture over the chicken. Place in the oven and bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.
Turn the drumsticks and baste with remaining mustard mixture. Return to oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes longer or until the chicken is cooked through. Serve hot.
