The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
Chicken Wings With Potatoes

ingredients
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons snipped parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash garlic powder
1 dash black pepper
2 pounds chicken wings
1/4 cup milk
4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut in sticks
2 tablespoons butter, melted
directions
Combine first 6 ingredients. Dip chicken in milk, then roll in crumb mixture. Place with potatoes in single layer in ungreased 15 1/2- x 10 1/2- x 1-inch baking pan. Drizzle butter over potatoes.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes. Do not turn.
