ingredients
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 egg
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
directions
In a medium saucepan, melt the butterscotch chips, brown sugar, and butter, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and cool slightly.
Add the egg and beat well. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt, blending well. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Spread the mixture into a greased 8" x 8" baking pan and bake on the center rack of the oven at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
Let cool slightly before cutting into 2" squares.
