ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
40 saltine crackers
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts, finely ground
directions
Boil butter and brown sugar in a saucepan for 3 minutes. Arrange the crackers on a cookie sheet, lined up against each other, not overlapping.
Spread the butter and sugar mixture over the crackers. Bake at 350 degrees F for 5 minutes. Take them out of the oven. Pour the chocolate chips on the top immediately.
When the chips melt, spread out the chocolate evenly. Sprinkle with the ground walnuts.
Place the cookie sheet into the fridge to cool. Cut or break the bars.
