Mashed Potato Bake With Buttery Bread Crumb Topping

ingredients
3 1/2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
1/2 cup milk or half and half
5 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 jars (12 ounce size) zesty brown gravy with sweet onions
3 slices firm white bread, torn into crumbs
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
directions
Place potatoes in large saucepan; add water to cover. Boil potatoes 25 minutes or until tender; drain. Add milk, 3 tablespoons butter and salt. Mash potatoes until smooth.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Pour gravy into 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Spoon mashed potatoes into baking dish in large dollops.
Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter; mix with bread crumbs and parsley. Sprinkle evenly over potatoes.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until potatoes are hot and crumbs are golden brown.
