ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 package (1.25 ounce size) taco seasoning mix
2 1/2 cups water
7 ounces uncooked elbow macaroni
4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
2 green onions, sliced
1/2 cup sour cream
1 medium tomato, chopped
directions
Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.
Add taco seasoning mix, water, and macaroni; mix well. Bring to a boil; stir. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and cook 8 to 10 minutes or until macaroni is of desired doneness, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle with cheese and onions. Top with sour cream. Sprinkle with tomato.
