Caribbean Country-Style Ribs

ingredients
3 pounds pork loin country-style ribs
1 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup mango chutney
3/4 teaspoon cumin
4 teaspoons hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
directions
In 5 quart saucepan over high heat, heat ribs with enough water to cover to boiling. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 1 hour or until ribs are fork-tender. Drain.
Heat grill to medium or heat oven to 450 degrees F.
Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine chopped chutney, pepper sauce, oil, chili powder, cumin, salt and thyme. Arrange ribs on rack in grill or broiler pan.
Brush ribs with chutney mixture. Cook 20 minutes or until brown and heated through, brushing occasionally with chutney mixture and turning once.
