20 red potatoes, boiled and chopped
12 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and coarsely chopped
1 bunch celery, chopped
green bell peppers, seeded and finely chopped
habanero chiles, chopped finely
jalapeno peppers, chopped finely
sweet relish
yellow mustard
mayonnaise
chopped white onion
black pepper
seasoned salt
celery seed
paprika (for garnish)
directions
Combine the potatoes, eggs, and celery in a large bowl. Add any of the other ingredients in amounts as desired. Mix gently to combine.
Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to chill before serving.

My family has made ours this way for years, EXCEPT for the hot stuff, 'cause not everyone likes that. WE also 'season to taste'.

I am the kind of cook who needs measurements so I usually shy away from recipes like this. However I love Patti's mac and cheese recipe so I just had to try it. Took a bit of effort to figure out the amounts of the other ingredients to add and I'm assuming that not ALL have to be added. I will keep tweaking it but I think this is a winner.
