- #92445
ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup honey
1 large egg
1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease 2 baking sheets, or use nonstick pans.
Beat the butter and sugar together until well blended. Add the honey and beat again. Beat in the egg. Stir together the flour, salt, and baking soda; stir into the dough. Stir in the walnuts.
Drop the dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the baking sheets, leaving 2 inches between the drops. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until browned on top.
Let rest on the baking sheet for 1 minute before removing to wire racks to cool.

I really liked the taste of the honey and butter together, and the walnuts were a pleasant plus.
