A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.
Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.

Ok, this recipe can't be right. 1 ounce broccoli? 1 ounce mushrooms? This is what I did: 10 oz frozen broccoli florettes, 4 oz fresh sliced mushrooms, omitted the tomato sauce because I wanted a white sauce. Also don't bring the cream mixture to a hard boil or you'll have curdled milk. Let simmer. Can't give this 5 stars because it's horrible as written. With my changes it was 4 stars.
