Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

My family loved this sauce. I used it with a sweet potato, kale ravioli purchased from Costco. I, too, added the Grand Marnier at the end. My husband said it was definitely restaurant quality taste. A word of caution, though - be careful when adding the parmesan as it will bubble up and overflow. This recipe is a keeper.

I used a little less orange juice (3/4 cup) because it seemed like it might be overwhelming otherwise and replaced it with cream (basically switched the orange juice and cream amounts). I took the suggestion by AGIRARD and added grand marnier in at the end! That was delightful!

Add sliced green onions and dried tomatoes at the very beginning in the melted butter. At the end, add fresh garlic and a spoonfull of Cognac or Grand Marnier or Cointreau while hot 5 minutes before serving. Incredible!
