It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

A fun way to use up leftover Kit Kat candy bars. For a grownup version, add 1/4 cup Kahlua to the blender. Serve with a Kit Kat stirrer if desired.

1 cup chocolate milk
1 cup chocolate ice cream
2 Kit Kat candy bars, chopped
Combine the chocolate milk and ice cream in a blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container. Cover the container and freeze for 3 hours or until frozen.
Place the frozen mixture in the blender and pulse-process until slushy. Add the candy bars and pulse a few times to chop up the candy bars.
Pour the candy bar smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.

Delicious!! I didn't try it with the kahlua because we were making this with the kids but I bet that is delicious too.

We made these into a grownup version by adding 1/4 cup of Kahlua and served them in shot glasses with a Kit Kat stirrer. Delicious!
