The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
3 cups vanilla ice cream
2/3 cup miniature peanut butter sandwich cookies
1 banana, sliced
directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Process just until smooth, stopping once to scrape down sides of container. (Mixture will be thick).
Spoon into glasses and serve immediately.
