Candied Sweet Potatoes With Glazed Walnuts

ingredients
1 can (28 ounce size) sweet potatoes or yams, drained
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, plus some halves for garnish
directions
Mash the sweet potatoes or cut into 3/4" thick slices. Place in a shallow baking pan.
Melt butter with brown sugar and cinnamon and cook for 1 minute. Stir in the walnuts until coated. Drizzle mixture evenly over the potatoes and bake in a 350 degrees F oven for about 25 minutes or until top is candied and glazed.
