Nog, aka eggless eggnog, is a heavenly holiday treat. Pudding mix and vanilla ice cream are the secrets to the recipe, but if it's an adult-only affair a splash of real rum wouldn't hurt to dress it up.

ingredients
1 pk(3.4 ounce size) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 quart milk
1/2 teaspoon rum flavoring
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 cup vanilla ice cream, thawed
directions
Whisk together the vanilla pudding mix with 1/2 cup of the milk until smooth. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Stir in the remaining ingredients. Chill well before serving.
Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
