ingredients
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 can (14.5 ounce size) Italian stewed tomatoes
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups cooked sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
hot cooked rice
directions
In a skillet or wok, stir fry the onion, peppers and garlic in butter until the vegetables are tender. Add tomatoes, basil, sugar, garlic salt and pepper. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the steak; cover and simmer until heated through.
Serve over rice.

This is a great Atkins meal if you use splenda instead of sugar and omit the rice! Also, you can use beef (for stir fry) or chicken and they're both good!
