  1. bakerygirl REVIEW:

While it tastes good....its a glorified bisquit with jelly....NOT a danish...

Everyone loved these and best yet they are super easy to make. I filled them with a mixture of cream and ricotta cheese sweeted with a little sugar and vanilla then topped that with cinnamon and brown sugar on some and jam on the others. They freeze well and can be nuked for a quick breakfast, desert or snack. All in all this recipe is awesome!

I just made this recipe, it was surprisingly easy and tasted very good! I used pancake mix with a little bit of baking soda added instead of baking mix. The filling was simple, I just mixed up half and half ricotta and cream cheese with a little vanilla and sugar, spooned that into the center then topped with strawberry preserves. On a few of them rather then strawberry I put a dash of cinnamon and sprinkled with brown sugar. They are both equally good. All in all this recipe was unbelievably quick, easy and fun to make. The kids will love these for breakfast in the morning!
