1 package (18.25 ounce size) cake mix of your choice
2 eggs
1/2 cup shortening
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup chopped nuts
powdered sugar

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine the cake mix, eggs, shortening, and water in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until blended. Stir in the nuts by hand.
Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes.
