Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.

great as is. I find it best to rate and review as printed other wise it's not the same recipe and should not be compared to another version.

Made this recipe for 10 tried and true Italian Octagenarians and scored a perfect meal! I've already had requests to give the recipe to everyone who was there. I substitued bay scallops for the clams because of an allergy problem and also threw in some imitation crab meat and calamari rings. Grazi, Ray whoever you are. It was wonderful
