ingredients
1 large green bell pepper
1/2 pound shaved salami
1/2 pound thinly sliced provolone cheese
1 loaf frozen bread dough
2 tablespoons olive oil
directions
Allow dough to thaw, roll out 8x14. Slice green pepper long way and saute in olive oil until soft. Layer (1) salami, (2) cheese, (3) green pepper. Roll up dough like jelly roll (tightly). Seal edges and seams.
After rolled, cut in half. Allow bread to rise 1/2-1 hour.
Brush top with egg. Place diagonal cuts on top. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Best served warm, but may serve at room temperature.
