The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

The best thing about this hot pockets copycat recipe is that you can use your favorite fillings. The flavor combinations are endless.
Dough
1 tablespoon yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon salt
2 3/4 cups flour, more as needed
Filling Ideas
pizza sauce
sauteed, sliced mushrooms
sliced pepperoni
shredded cheese
chopped, cooked chicken
cooked Italian sausage
Place the warm water in a large bowl and sprinkle the yeast over the surface of the water. Let stand until the yeast starts to bubble. Add the sugar and let the mixture rest until foamy.
Add the oil, salt, and flour to the bowl. Mix until it forms a dough then knead the dough for 5 minutes. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Divide the dough into equal pieces and roll each piece out to a 6-inch circle (or desired size).
Place desired fillings on half of each circle. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal them.
Place the hot pockets on a baking sheet. Cut one or two small slits in the top of each to let steam escape while cooking. Place in the oven and bake at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes or until the dough is baked and the filling is hot.
Remove from the oven and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Ah, the unassuming envelope of onion soup mix. It's more than just for onion soup (or dip). It adds tremendous flavor (and convenience) in all these recipes.
