The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

ingredients
3 small apples, peeled and chunked
1 can (small size) pineapple tidbits, drained
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 dash nutmeg
Topping
2/3 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2/3 cup skim milk
directions
Mix all of the fruit filling ingredients together and pour into a baking dish.
Whisk together the topping ingredients and pour over the top of the fruit.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until golden.
