The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.
Green And Yellow Rice

ingredients
3 cups boiled rice
1/4 cup butter
4 eggs, beaten
1 pound Cheddar cheese, grated
1 cup milk
1 package frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained
1 tablespoon onion, chopped
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tablespoon marjoram
1/2 tablespoon thyme
1/2 tablespoon rosemary
1/2 tablespoon salt
directions
Melt butter and add to the cooked rice.
Add milk to eggs, then add cheese, then spinach. Mix well, but gently. Add onion and seasonings. Set aside after placing in a 2 quart casserole.
When ready, set casserole, uncovered, in a pan of warm water and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
