1 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 1/2 cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cup whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

directions

Combine the peach puree, 1/2 cup of the brown sugar, and the lemon juice in a bowl. Cover and place in the refrigerator while preparing the rest of the recipe.

Combine the milk, eggs, and remaining brown sugar in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir the mixture constantly until thickened, about 15 minutes.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the whipping cream and vanilla extract. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to chill for about 2 hours.
