ingredients
3 eggs, well beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup honey
1 cup chopped nuts
1 pound dates, chopped
1 1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
directions
Combine honey and eggs. Add flavoring.
Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt. Add to honey and egg mixture. Add nuts and dates. Mix thoroughly.
Pour into shallow, well-oiled pan. Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees F) about 10 minutes.
Cut in strips 1 inch wide and 3 inches long. Roll in powdered sugar.

These turned out just fine for me. I'm not sure why the other reviewer had trouble cutting them. Very tasty.

They are very good but I must have done something wrong. They are very sticky and hard to cut. I cooked them longer than called for but still the same. If you can tell me what to do next time I'd appreciate it.
