ingredients
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
2 cups cooking oil
4 eggs
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups flour
1 1/2 cup minute oats
2 cups coconut
4 cups cereal (any kind except sweetened, I use Rice Krispies)
6 ounces chocolate chips
1 cup nuts (optional)
1 cup raisins (optional)
directions
Combine the sugars, oil and eggs in large bowl or dishpan. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in 350 degrees F oven for soft or 10 to 12 minutes in 375 degrees F oven for crisp.
Dough is stiff. May need to form with hands because of oil. Freezes well. Keeps well.

Nutritional data has not been calculated yet.A can of cream of mushroom soup can be a real dinner saver. It works great in casseroles and can turn into a sauce or gravy in a pinch.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

Makes a lot of cookies but they freeze very well so I keep a huge batch in the freezer in zip bags for when we want a snack. For the cereal I've used both cornflakes and rice krispies and both work very well. It says not to use sweetened but my son asked me to try making these with frosted flakes so I think I will give it a shot.

These are wonderful. We made these for guests at our bed and breakfast and they were always a huge hit.
