2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 egg whites

1 cup chopped walnuts
directions
For First Layer: Crumble first 7 ingredients together well in large bowl. Press firmly into 9 x 9 inch ungreased pan. Set aside.
For Second Layer: Beat egg whites until frothy. Add second amount of brown sugar 1/3 at a time, beating until stiff. Fold in nuts. Spoon over unbaked base, spreading evenly.
Bake in 350 degrees F oven for about 25 minutes until golden. Cool. Cut with sharp knife, dipped in hot water between cuts. Covering pan allows meringue to soften for easier cutting.

This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.
Pizza night is always a favorite, especially when you have great tasting pizza from some of the most popular restaurants.
