Spaghetti And Sausage Pizza Casserole

ingredients
1 package (7 ounce size) spaghetti
1 pound Italian sausage
1 cup milk
2 eggs or equivalent egg substitute
1 jar (32 ounce size) favorite spaghetti sauce
4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Optional Pizza Toppings
mushrooms
green bell peppers
olives
pepperoni
directions
Brown Italian sausage and drain well. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
Meanwhile, in a 9 x 13 inch or 12 x 8 inch pan, mix 2 eggs and 1 cup milk. Add cooked spaghetti that has been drained and cooked slightly, mixing well.
Cover this with your spaghetti sauce. Top with half the cheese. Then sprinkle with browned sausage and other favorite pizza toppings.
Cover with rest of cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. You can prepare this ahead or freeze until ready to bake.

I made this recipe for a "Casserole Cookoff" friendly competition at a volunteer organization. It was a big hit. I changed the Pizza topping to suit my own taste. I will make this again for my family and when I need to 'bring a dish to share'. It was easy to make.
