Spaghetti Pie With Meat Crust

30-60 minutes
ingredients
6 ounces cut spaghetti (cook and drain)
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup onions
1/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cans (8 ounce size) tomato sauce with onions or mushrooms
1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
directions
Combine bread crumbs, onions, salt, pepper, green pepper, and hamburger. Add 1/2 cup tomato sauce. Mix thoroughly.
Pat mixture into 10" pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees F until hamburger is thoroughly cooked. Drain off fat.
Combine remaining tomato sauce, spaghetti and half the cheese. Spoon into crust. Bake another 15 minutes or so. Sprinkle rest of cheese over top and serve.
Variation: Instead of filling with spaghetti, could also fill with mashed or scalloped potatoes, vegetables and gravy, Spanish rice, or other filling.
