Easy Skillet Lasagne

ingredients
1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can (15 ounce size) herb-flavored tomato sauce
2 cups water
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
8 ounces medium egg noodles
1 cup ricotta cheese
3 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
directions
In a 10" deep skillet, cook beef and onion over medium high heat, stirring often, until meat is browned, about 5 minutes. Drain off fat.
Stir in tomato sauce, water, garlic, basil, oregano, and noodles. Heat to boiling, stirring. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together cheeses, egg, parsley, and pepper. spoon cheese topping in 5 mounds around edge of skillet and one in center. Cover and simmer 15 minutes longer.

It was simple and very tasty. I add more noodles and a little of salt. My family loved it!!

Great recipe - very easy. I used Mafalda noodles (mini-lasagne noodles) instead of egg noodles, and added more pasta than it called for. Topped it w/mozzarella cheese. A real-family pleaser!
