Slow Cooker Glazed Peach Jalapeno Pepper Chicken

ingredients
6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped (or to taste)
2 dark orange sweet potatoes, cut in 1 inch pieces
1 1/2 cup frozen whole onions
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup peach preserves
1 1/2 cup frozen snap pea pods, thawed
directions
Place chicken in slow cooker and sprinkle with salt. Top with garlic, jalapenos, sweet potatoes and onion. Cover and cook 7 to 8 hours.
Remove chicken and veggies from cooker. Mix water, salt and cornstarch together. Pour juices from slow cooker into 2 quart saucepan. Stir in preserves and cornstarch mix and boil for 1 minute. Stir in pea pods and cook 2 minutes until pods are tender.
Serve sauce over chicken.
