The name, vodka, comes from the Russian phrase zhiznennaia voda, or "water of life". It can be made from everything from potatoes to beets. It's considered to be fairly flavorless which makes it a great liquor for mixed drinks.

- #66812
1-2 hrs
ingredients
4 large boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup whiskey
2 tablespoons grainy mustard
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons honey
1 lime, juiced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup chicken stock
1/4 cup butter
directions
Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
Place whiskey in a small saucepan. Boil over medium heat about 5 minutes, reducing amount by half (alcohol will evaporate). Remove from heat and add mustard, molasses, honey and lime juice. Stir to mix well, then remove half of marinade and reserve.
In remaining half of marinade, place chicken breasts and marinate in refrigerator for at least 1 hour (can marinate overnight if desired).
In a large frying pan, place oil over medium heat. Add chicken and cook, turning once, about 10 minutes, or until fork can be inserted with ease. Remove chicken from pan and keep warm.
To pan, add chicken stock and cook until amount is reduced by two-thirds. Add reserved marinade and butter. Simmer, stirring, until butter melts. Pour over chicken.

It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
