1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
2 cans (2.5 ounce size) sliced ripe olives, divided

1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

directions
Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is browned; pour off any accumulated drippings. Stir in tomato sauce, seasoning mix, cumin, oregano and olives. Unroll crescent roll dough to cover bottom of ungreased 9" x 13" pan, gently patting the perforated seams of dough together.
Sprinkle half of crushed Fritos on top of dough. Spoon on mixture. Stir together sour cream and green chilies; spread over meat mix. Sprinkle remaining Fritos over sour cream; top evenly with cheddar cheese.
Bake 25-30 minutes or until crust is cooked. Serve with optional ingredients, if desired.

In a cooking rut? Try one of these taste-tested, family-approved recipes using ground beef.
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
