Bread Machine Blue Cheese-Potato Bread

ingredients
1 1/4 cup water
1 egg, well beaten
1 tablespoon butter, softened
3 cups bread flour
1/3 cup instant mashed potato flakes
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 tablespoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon bread machine yeast
directions
Combine all the ingredients in the bread machine in the order recommended by your machine manufacturer.
Bake on white bread setting, light crust.
Remove the pan from the machine when done. Let cool for 5 minutes then remove the bread from the pan and place on a wire rack to cool completely. Do not slice until completely cooled.

Made the dough but then made it into buns and baked in the oven. Used for pan fried burgers. Really good recipe!

If you haven't used potato in bread you must! It gives it such good texture. Add in the blue cheese and you have a fantastic bread. This bread would work great in a savory bread pudding, for grilled sandwiches, or with other savory ingredients.
