November 9th, 2025 is National Scrapple Day

National Scrapple Day

The Amish really know how to economize! Scrapple is a Pennsylvania Dutch invention that makes use of leftover hog organs (sometimes including entire heads!), cornmeal, and flour to produce a mush that is typically shaped into a loaf and then fried, sliced, and served as a breakfast food.

CDK has several scrapple recipes that will prove to our non-Amish users that . . . it's actually not too bad!
