It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).

This same recipe has been in my family forever. I make it exactly as written. It's the most delicious and moist coffee cake you'll ever have.

I've made this three times now and it has always come out well. A very moist cake and everyone loves it. Tried three different beers and would suggest a bitter or draught, very sweet cake so sweet beers not required. Highly recomended.
