Mango-Jicama Salsa

ingredients
2 mangoes
1 medium jicama
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/2 teaspoon seeded and chopped jalapeno pepper
1 small red onion, finely diced, optional
directions
Peel the mangoes and remove the pit. Dice the mango flesh.
Peel the jicama and cut into dice.
Combine the diced mango and jicama in a bowl with the cilantro, lime juice, jalapeno, and onion. Mix well and serve. The salsa can also be served chilled (drain off any excess liquid before serving).
