1 cup real mayonnaise 2 tablespoons vinegar 1 tablespoon prepared mustard 1 teaspoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon black pepper 8 ounces elbow macaroni, cooked and drained 1 cup celery, sliced 1 cup green or red bell pepper, chopped 1/4 cup onion, chopped
Combine the first 8 ingredients. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill.

This recipe is so delicious! All my friends love when I make it, and adding little cheddar cheese chunks makes it even better! I will continue making this for a very long time :)

Not only is this macaroni salad now a family favorite, it is so easy to make!!! My family asks me to make it for all of the picnic gatherings...there are never any left overs. I find that if I make it the night before the picnic, it tastes even better, if that is possible. I also have been using the Barilla Plus Elbows...what a difference. Thank you for posting this recipe!
