Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.
Ginger And Lemongrass Panna Cotta

30-60 minutes
ingredients
1 quart cream
5 1/2 sheets gelatin
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon turmeric
10 stalks lemongrass
5 whole ginger root
GINGER HONEY
6 ounces honey
2 ounces ginger
directions
Bring cream to a boil, add gelatin, sugar.
Split liquid into 2 equal halves. Add ginger and turmeric to first half. Add lemon grass to second half.
Bring both halves to boil in separate sauce pans and let sit for 20 minutes, then strain each, keeping them separate.
Pour first layer in cups using first mixture, let set in fridge. Add second layer to cups using second mixture, let set in fridge. Repeat, adding layers and chilling until cups are filled.
Chill for 20 minutes in fridge.
GINGER HONEY: Warm honey. Shred ginger on microplane until smooth. Strain ginger before adding to honey. Add ginger to honey mix and cool.
