It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Marvelous Cherry Mash

ingredients
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 dash salt
12 regular marshmallows
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup cherry baking chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup powdered sugar
1 pound chocolate almond bark
1 package (14 ounce size) pecans, chopped
directions
Combine sugar, milk, salt, marshmallows and margarine in sauce pan over medium heat. Boil for 5 to 6 minutes.
Remove from heat and add cherry chips and vanilla, mixing well. Pour into a buttered 9" x 13" pan. Cool.
When cool, remove from pan and break up. Knead and add enough powdered sugar until the right texture to roll into small balls.
Melt chocolate almond bark. Mix in chopped pecans. Pour small amount into the bottom of paper candy cups. Place ball of cherry mixture into candy cup. Finish filling with the chocolate mixture. Place in refrigerator until set.
