This iconic whiskey is a "Jack of all trades" when it comes to cooking. Toss it in some pasta, as a savory dipping sauce, and even bake it into something sweet.

Warm, gooey mozzarella cheese is deep fried inside a crispy coating. Serve with ranch dressing, pizza sauce, or marinara sauce for dipping.

3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup seasoned Italian bread crumbs
1 pound Mozzarella cheese, cut in sticks
vegetable oil
marinara or pizza sauce
ranch salad dressing
Place the beaten egg in a shallow dish. Place the flour in another shallow dish. Place the bread crumbs in a third shallow dish.
Dip the cheese pieces first in the egg, coating them completely and letting any excess drip off. Roll the cheese in the flour and shake off any excess. Dip them again in the egg and let excess drip off. Finally, roll them in the bread crumbs, pressing the crumbs so they adhere. Place the cheese sticks on a wax paper lined plate and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Heat oil in a deep fryer or deep saucepan to 375 degrees F.
Add the cheese sticks to the hot oil in batches. Turn as needed until they are golden brown. Remove the cheese sticks from the oil with a slotted spoon and let drain on paper toweling.
Serve hot with pasta sauce or ranch dressing, for dipping.

I was sure I was going to mess these up but they turned out great. Only had a couple leak cheese because I didn't get the coating right on them. All the rest were perfect just like a restaurant would serve. Forgot to take a photo to add.

Just like you get at a restaurant! Kinda messy to make but we loved them. Dipped them in spaghetti sauce.

I used string cheese cut into pieces. I also used a deep-fryer so the temperature was very exact. These were so good! The coating process is important. Make sure to thoroughly coat in each stage of the process otherwise you'll get cheese leakage. Flavor totally rocked and I could have eaten these all night. I used a homemade marinara as a dipping sauce but my husband said he thought it would be good with pizza sauce too.
