ingredients

1 tablespoon butter
10 eggs, beaten
1 cup light cream
8 ounces shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
10 slices cooked bacon, chopped

directions

Grease the slow cooker crock with the butter (leave excess in the crock); set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, cream, cheese, and pepper, then add to the slow cooker. Sprinkle the bacon over the top of the mixture.

Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours. Do not overcook or the quiche will be dry.

This recipe is word-for-word from the book "The Everyday Low-Carb Slow Cooker Handbook" by Kitty Broihier and Kimberly Mayone. I don't see them credited here!

  2. MrsDrC REVIEW:

This was GREAT! So easy, so yummy. Even my 4 year old picky eater woofed it down. My husband ate more then half of it on his own! I've always been scared of quiche because I thought it would be hard. This is a recipe we are going to use again and again.
