Scalloped Potatoes, Simple and Good

ingredients
4 potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/8-inch thick
flour
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon butter
milk
directions
Put a layer of sliced potatoes into a buttered oven dish Sprinkle with salt, pepper and flour. Dot with butter. Repeat using all potatoes slices. Add milk until it can be seen through top layer.
Bake 1-1/4 hours at 350 degrees F or until potatoes are tender. To very, add sliced onions or cheddar cheese.

These scalloped potatoes are wonderful. I liked that it used milk and not cream - like so many of the recipes do. They turned out perfect and were a big hit with the kids. Yay!
