It may look like a sad little package shoved in the back of your freezer, but frozen spinach actually has a lot of culinary uses (and some may surprise you).
Country-Style Sausage

- #71643

ingredients
1 pound lean ground pork
3/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 tablespoon salt
directions
Crumble the ground pork into a bowl. Sprinkle with the sage, pepper, and salt. Mix well to incorporate the spices.
Shape the sausage into patties. They can be cooked immediately (in a skillet over medium-high heat or on a griddle) or freeze them for later use. You can also use this in any recipe calling for bulk pork sausage.
nutrition data
Pumpkins aren't just for pies or Halloween decorations. These large, orange gourds - while naturally sweet - also work well in savory dishes. They pair well with poultry and pork (and especially bacon) and their creamy-when-cooked texture blends easily into soups.
Not to be confused with evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk is very sweet (and very sticky) and used primarily in desserts.

Homemade sausage is much better and cheaper than buying the grocery store stuff. This is a very basic recipe but you can't go wrong with it.

-Turned out very nice and juicy. -Made sausage and egger sandwiches and they tasted great! -Good Sage flavour Note: - I used Pork Shoulder instead of lean ground pork and ground thru 3/16 plate. - I also doubled this recipe to 16. (2 lbs) - Used a patty press set at about ¼ââ¬Â and it made 11 patties.
